The Development and Cooperation Unit is composed by a staff with strong research capacities and long-lasting experience in the field of development and international cooperation.

The Unit carries out the following types of activities:

Research and analysis

Articles, essays, research papers, workshops, seminars, conferences and lectures.


General courses, thematic/specific courses, decentralised courses.

Project design and management in the field of development and cooperation

Participation to projects of development and cooperation both as project member and/or project leader.

Technical advice and assistance

Planning (needs assessment and design), monitoring and evaluation, drafting (plans, research, practical proposals on specific issues).
